LAKE GENEVA — Bitter cold, high winds and special precautions because of the pandemic threw extra challenges in the way of this year’s 11 teams at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship, part of Winterfest in Lake Geneva.

In the end, the Wisconsin team of Captain Joshua Jakubowski, Robert Lechtenberg and Michael Lechtenberg were crowned champions for the sculpture entitled, “Inoculation.”
