DELAVAN — A strong storm that developed Monday afternoon produced at least one tornado, according to the National Weather Service.
The Clinton Fire Department about 3 p.m. reported a touchdown near the intersection of south Carver Rock Road and East Creek Road.
Then, about 3:15 p.m., there were multiple public reports of a tornado with intermittend touchdowns just north of I-43 and along Wisconsin Highway 140.
The National Weather Service issued multiple tornado warnings for parts of Walworth County.
At 3:38 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Delavan, moving northeast at 20 mph.
The national weather service says there is radar indicated rotation.
The warnings expired about 4 p.m.
