LAKE GENEVA — Lake Geneva police are seeking tips on a string of overnight car thefts and break-ins on the city’s northwest side.

According to a post on social media, there were a string of thefts from vehicles and a vehicle theft in the following areas last night or into the early morning hours today:

• Tolman Street
• Gardner Street
• Wheeler Street
• Clover Street

All the incidents were within a short distance of each other in neighborhoods off George Street.

If anyone observed anything suspicious, police are asking them to call 262-248-4455.

Police also are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and do not leave keys or other valuables inside of their vehicles.
