LAKE GENEVA — No one was injured Monday afternoon when a fire broke out in a maintenance building at The Ridge Resort.

The fire was in a small maintenance building not attached to the main lodge, according to a news release from the Lake Geneva Fire Department.

The first units to arrive said there was smoke coming from the backside of the building and the fire was quickly extinguished.

No injuries are reported and the building was not occupied during the fire.

L.G.F.D. was assisted by Elkhorn Fire, Linn Township Fire, Town of Geneva Police Department, Walworth County Dispatch Center and the Dispatchers from Lake Geneva Police Department.
