ELKHORN — One incumbent was defeated, and two others will fill open seats following the April 5, 2022 election for Walworth County Board.

Six of Walworth County’s 11 board seats were contested as voters went to the polls Tuesday.

Incubment David A. Weber, Williams Bay, lost to Joanne Laufenberg, Lake Geneva, in the District 7 race.

Alan Stanek of Whitewater won the open District 4 race, while former county Clerk of Courts Sheila Reiff won the open District 11 seat.

Longtime incumbents Jerry Grant in District 4Daniel Kilkenny in District 8 and Nancy Russell in District 11, decided to not run for re-election this time around, and two of those races — District 4 and District 11 — have two candidates.

The Walworth County Clerk totals as of 10:45 p.m. are:
