TOWN OF GENEVA — An 18-year-old Illinois man pulled from Lake Como Sunday has died, Town of Geneva Police said Wednesday.

The victim has been identified as Adam Jablonski, 18, from Vemon Hills, Illinois.

The Town of Geneva Police Department was called about 8 p.m. Sunday to a pier on Como Lake in front of a home off South Shore Drive.

The caller said CPR was in progress on an 18-year-old man that was pulled from the water. He had no pulse and was not breathing, they told police.

Life saving efforts were administered and the man was transported to Mercy Medical Center, then to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospital where he passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022.

The Town of Geneva Police Department was assisted by Lake Geneva Fire and Rescue Departments, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department, and the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is currently ongoing.
