DELAVAN — Teresa Ortega Bernal, a sixth grader in the Delavan-Darien School District, is this year’s winner of the Wisconsin Association for Bilingual Education Middle School Art Contest.

Ortega Bernal’s drawing was chosen from all of the middle school entries across the state of Wisconsin.

This year’s theme was United Through Language and Culture, Unidos A Través del Lenguaje Y La Cultura.

Ortega Bernal’s art piece will be framed by the Walker’s Point Center for the Arts in Milwaukee and displayed in their art studio.

The art piece will also be on display this summer at the Walker’s Point Art Festival in Milwaukee.
