ELKHORN – The 49th annual Walworth County Fur and Feather Sale will be held on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Charles H. Wiswell Center at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.
This popular event features a livestock sale where 100 percent of the proceeds directly support local youth with blue ribbon winning rabbit, goat, and poultry projects and a scholarship fundraiser. This year five $1,000 scholarships will be granted.
The auction provides an opportunity for community members to purchase high-quality livestock while also making a positive impact on the lives of young exhibitors.
The 2025 sale order is:
- Goats
- Rabbits
- Poultry
“We encourage the public to come out and support our talented young exhibitors,” said Dale Wheelock, event organizer. “This auction is a great way to get involved in the community and help these kids learn valuable life skills.”
Those interested in attending the auction should arrive early to register and receive a buyer’s card. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted (a small convenience fee applies).
For more information or to support the auction without attending, please contact Dale Wheelock at 262-745-3889.
