ELKHORN — Delavan’s Chad Visger, owner of Pastries by Chad in Elkhorn, was eliminated in Thursday’s episode two of “Next Level Baker.”

Visger finished in the top two in the episode’s first challenge, but eliminated in the second.

That follows a rollercoaster performance on the premiere, which aired last Thursday, on Dec. 4, 2025.

Here is a breakdown of how he did in episode 1:

  • Round 1 (Chocolate Challenge): Chad started very strong. He won the challenge for the Professional Bakers group. This victory kept him safe from the first wave of eliminations (where three other bakers were sent home) and earned him a spot in the Top-Level Kitchen for the next round.
  • Round 2 (Boozy Holiday Party Bakes): His momentum slowed down in the second heat. He struggled with this challenge and landed in the bottom three alongside contestants Maricsa Trejo and Nikki Jackson.
  • Final Outcome: Chad survived elimination. While Maricsa Trejo was sent home, Chad was safe, though his low placement meant he was relegated to the Basement Kitchen for the start of Episode 2.
