FONTANA — A 57-year-old woman died Thursday evening during a boating mishap on Geneva Lake in Fontana.
NBC5 Chicago is reporting that a boat carrying three people was docking at about 8 p.m. in Fontana when the woman fell off and was struck by the boat, according to the Wisconsin DNR.
She was pronounced dead on the scene.
No other people were injured, officials said.
The name and where the woman is from were not yet released.
