GENEVA TOWNSHIP — The Town of Geneva Plan Commission has scheduled a public hearing for June 15 to consider a proposal to add 200 homes to Geneva National.

According to Supervisor Scott Williams, the commission will review a conceptual development plan from Florida-based Lennar Corp. to build more than 200 single-family homes.

The proposed development, located adjacent to Palmer Road would feature a clubhouse, swimming pool and other community amenities.

Lennar is requesting that the commission approve its conceptual plan, which would allow the company to proceed with preparing a preliminary plat.

Construction on the neighborhood could begin as early as next year.

The public hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Geneva Town Hall, N3496 Como Road.

The meeting provides an opportunity for area residents to express their thoughts or concerns regarding the project.
