Geneva Lake Water Safety Patrol

GENEVA LAKE — As the summer boating season winds down, an annual end-of-summer tradition returns to the lake on Labor Day.

The annual Water Safety Patrol “Fly-by” begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7 on Geneva Lake beginning at the Safety Patrol headquarters in Williams Bay.

The patrol boats then will make their way clockwise around the entire lake.

This is one of the most anticipated events on the lake each summer, as the patrol boats “fly-information” around the lake to salute the hundreds of people who come out to the piers and the shoreline to see the “Heroes in Red.”
