TOWN OF DELAVAN — A customer was injured Thursday in a crash at the Sweet Corn Lady produce stand on Highway 50 in the Delavan Inlet.
The crash happened about 1:30 p.m., according to scanner traffic.
“Many of you have likely heard about the accident at our Sweet Corn Lady Stand yesterday,” the Sweet Corn Lady and Daughters posted on Facebook. “Our thoughts and prayers are with our customer who was injured, as well as the person involved in the crash. We are wishing them both strength and a full recovery.”
They went on to say the season is short and they’ve cobbled things back together so they can open today and be open this weekend.
“Please stop by and see us. We appreciate your support,” they wrote.
