FONTANA — As winter winds down, those who rely on Geneva Lake for their winter activities are hoping to get in a few more weeks of enjoyment.

That includes ice boaters, who have set up in their traditional location in front of Gordy’s in Fontana.

Saturday provided bright blue skies, but little wind, putting a damper on any attempts to get a sail in.

Wind speeds aren’t expected to pick up again until next weekend.
