LAKE GENEVA — Crews began demolition Monday of a building in downtown Lake Geneva Monday to make way for new development.
Photos on the city of Lake Geneva Facebook page show the building at 252 Center St. that once the Habecker-Derrick Funeral Home coming down.
The owners of the Brick & Mortar Home and Outdoor store next door plan to construct a new two-story building in its place.
The new building will include retail and assembly spaces as well as apartments or Airbnb units, according to the Lake Geneva Regional News.
