WALWORTH COUNTY — Plans are under way for the 14th annual free Walworth County Community Thanksgiving dinner.

Due to health restrictions, the meal will not be served on premises this year.

Instead, all meals can either be delivered or picked up at Hawk’s View Golf Club at 7377 Krueger Rd. in Lake Geneva.

Pickup is between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021.

There’s no need to call, just stop in and pick up a meal.

Formerly known as the Elks Thanksgiving Dinner, all food is donated, cooked and served by volunteers.

To schedule food delivery to the elderly, homebound or anyone in need, call 262-749-4621 and leave a message.

The meal is sponsored by the Walworth County Thanksgiving Dinner, Inc.

Deliveries are compliments of Boy Scout Troops 328 and 7328, and Cub Scout Pack 327.

For more information or to make a donation, call Brenda at 262-749-4621.

Donations can also be made via check or gift cards to Piggly Wiggly or Walmart. They can be mailed to Walworth County Community Thanksgiving Dinner, c/o Brenda Warrenburg, PO Box 908, Delavan, WI 53115 or call to pick it up at (262) 749-4621.
