WISCONSIN RAPIDS — It won’t be hard to find a Badger Saturday at the WIAA state cross country meet in Wisconsin Rapids.

Both the girls and boys teams qualified for the Division 1 state meet Saturday.

The Badger boys qualified with four returning runners from a team that placed sixth during the traditional season a year ago, 

Senior Demetrius Farmakis of Badger is considered a contender for the individual title following sectionals last week, along with junior Owen Bosley of Homestead, junior Noah Jahnke of West De Pere, senior Christian Kohr of Marquette, junior Nash Merklein of Hartford, and freshman Manny Putz of Onalaska.
