LAKE GENEVA — Just in time for the holiday shopping crunch, 2022 Wisconsin state park stickers and trail passes go on sale Friday.

Walworth County boasts two state parks that cater to campers: Big Foot Beach in Lake Geneva and the southern unit of Kettle Moraine near Whitewater. The White River State Trail connects Elkhorn to Burlington.

The online order site will go live Friday HERE.

In a news release Tuesday, the Wisconsin DNR said they are opening sales early this year.

Beginning Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, customers can purchase their 2022 vehicle admission stickers online any time or at state park and forest properties during normal operating hours.

Annual state trail passes are not available for online shoppers, but will be available for purchase at properties, DNR service centers, many local vendors and through self-registration kiosks at trailheads.

Both 2022 state park and forest admission stickers and trail passes will be honored immediately upon purchase and valid through Dec. 31, 2022.
