ELKHORN — A popular Christmas light display near Elkhorn will flip off the switch for the final time at the end of the 2021 holiday season.

Known as the Walworth County Lights, the display is located in the Lauderdale Lakes Estates on the Northeast corner of Wisconsin Highway 67 abd County Highway A at N6916 Northwood Dr in Elkhorn.

The show runs daily from 5:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:15 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Homeowner JT Worley said in a Facebook post that he will be moving, and this is the last year for the show.

“All good things must come to an end and I am going to make sure that I end it on a good note,” he wrote.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to entertain everyone who has stopped by, and to have provided memorable moments for those in our community as well as those who have made the trip from great distances.”

The display features roughly 50,000 and visitors can listen to music that accompanies the lights by tuning to 87.9 on their car radio. The music loops every hour until 11 p.m.
