Ice artisans have working around the clock to get the attraction at Geneva National Resort & Club ready for Saturday’s grand opening.

Geneva National Resort & Club is located at 1091 Hidden Cottage Circle, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, just off Wisconsin Highway 50 between Lake Geneva and Williams Bay.

The interactive experience will feature ice-carved tunnels, fountains, slides, frozen thrones, and cascading towers of ice embedded with color-changing LED lights, according to a news release.

This season, guests can also add on a horse-drawn sleigh ride to their Ice Castles visit.

Artisans have spent the last 8 weeks growing, harvesting, and hand-placing icicles to create the life-size fairytale playground.

The Utah-based company has four other locations in Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, and Utah.

The opening of Ice Castles comes about two weeks before one of Walworth County’s biggest events of the season, Winterfest in Lake Geneva.

This free community event features the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship that includes 15 teams of the most talented and award-winning snow sculptors from across the country. Learn more HERE.
