DARIEN TOWNSHIP — Investigators with the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office are continuing their investigation after they say a body was found Thursday near a road in the town of Darien.

The sheriff’s office received a call at 12:12 p.m. Thursday regarding a body near Creek Road in the Town of Darien.

Detectives from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office are actively working on this death investigation and no further information will be released at this time, according to a news release.

Additional information may be released as the investigation unfolds.

There is no threat to the public regarding this incident, sheriff’s officials said.
