LAKE GENEVA — With the Badger High School football team playing in the WIAA Division 2 state championship game, administrators have announced there will be no school Friday.
To support the team, there will be no school for students and staff on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, for the Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School District and the Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District.
This includes Badger High School, Lake Geneva Middle School, Star Center Elementary School, Eastview Elementary School, Central-Denison Elementary School, Maple Park Charter School, New Visions Charter School, and the District Administration Center.
𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀
Lake Geneva Schools will be offering Badger High School and Lake Geneva Middle School Student Fan Buses. The Badger High School and Lake Geneva Middle School Student Fan Buses will depart Badger High School at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17.
To encourage students to ride the fan buses, Lake Geneva Schools will offer a discounted ticket for $10, which includes the bus ride and student game entry. Students must sign up for the fan buses in the Badger or LGMS office by Noon on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023. Payment is due at the time of sign-up. All LGMS students will need to return a signed permission slip to ride the fan buses.

For parents, staff, community members, and those students not riding the fan buses, click here to purchase your WIAA Division 2 Football Championship – Badger vs. Waunakee Game Tickets. Tickets are $11 each. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets online. Credit cards are accepted at the gate, but no cash. Note – If you are riding a fan bus, your game ticket is included with your bus sign-up.
