LAKE GENEVA — In the end, it was the 15 snow sculpting teams that overcame unseasonable warm weather to delight large crowds of visitors at the 2024 U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva.

Daytime temperatures hovered in the 40s all week, so teams compressed their work into all-nighters on Thursday and Friday, putting the finishing touches on their work early Saturday morning.

At an awards ceremony Saturday afternoon, the winners were announced. (Visit Lake Geneva photos):

1st: Wisconsin 2, Sculptora Borealis, “Trust Me”
