UPDATE 8:45 p.m. — Two suspects remain on the loose.

Update regarding suspects fleeing from Elkhorn home invasion who crashed in the City of Lake Geneva: The pursuit initiated in the City of Elkhorn as a result of a home invasion.

Three suspects are in custody. Drones were deployed and located one suspect. Another suspect had to be tased due to his resistive actions.

The third suspect was apprehended by a WWSO K-9 officer and due to his actions, was bit by the police K-9. The suspects did not sustain any serious injury other than noted.

Two additional suspects are believed at large.

An extensive search has taken place where the suspects were last observed fleeing in the area of North Edward’s Boulevard south of Sheridan Springs Road.

The suspects are believed to be male white or hispanic, with no further description.

The fleeing vehicle struck two other vehicles. Those victims are reported to have minor injuries.

Officers will continue to search throughout the evening but North Edward’s Boulevard will remain closed until the crash scene is cleared.

Please call 911 should you observe any persons matching the suspect’s description acting suspicious or appearing cold and wet. The City of Elkhorn Police Department is the lead agency in this case.

The City of Lake Geneva Police Department and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office assisted along with the Town of Linn Police Department and the City of Lake Geneva Fire Department. The Wisconsin State Patrol is handling the crash. The City of Elkhorn will release more information, but do not expect that until tomorrow at the earliest.

LAKE GENEVA — Police have apprehended three burglary suspects, but but possibly two more are on the loose Saturday evening after their car crashed in Lake Geneva.

The Lake Geneva Police Department’s latest bulletin on the incident came about 7 p.m.

Police are currently searching the Edwards Boulevard area near Sheridan Springs Road.

Police said authorities were pursuing a fleeing vehicle from a burglary in the Elkhorn area when it crashed on North Edwards Boulevard south of Sheridan Springs Rd.

The suspects fled on foot.

Police are asking people on the area to take precautions and call 911 to report any suspicious activity.

Avoid the area.

Suspect description thus far is only a dark in color hoodie.
