DELAVAN — Downtown Delavan’s Elizabeth’s Family Restaurant has expanded to the building next door.

Construction currently us under way at the restaurant located at 322 E. Walworth Ave.

The local, family-run diner purchased the adjacent building in 2023 and has been remodeling during the overnight hours, according to a social media post from Delavan Economic Development News.

The expansion will continue adding more seating and counter space.

They will also be expanding the kitchen to support the additional tables.

The new section has an updated facade with substantial natural light. The interior decor will have aspects of the historic building.
