ELKHORN — Gun shots following a rodeo at the Walworth County Fairgrounds led to a police response Sunday night.
Officers from the Elkhorn Police Department were called out about 10:30 p.m. to the intersection of E. First Avenue and N. Patricia Street for a report of gunshots.
Officers located evidence that a firearm was shot into the ground within the Walworth County Fairgrounds after a rodeo hosted at the grounds, according to a news release.
Police say no one is believed to have been injured during this incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
