WHITEWATER — The Whitewater Police Department said Monday that they have been made aware of a red fox that has been recently seen throughout the day at various locations in the city.

The fox has not been aggressive, according to police, but appears unhealthy (possibly suffering from the skin disease mange).

Police currenty are exploring options that are in the best interest of the fox and the citizens of Whitewater.

If you see the fox, please do not approach it and do not offer it food.
