WILLIAMS BAY — Area residents and visitors alike have been anxiously awaiting the reopening of the iconic, igloo shaped Daddy Maxwell’s restaurant in Williams Bay.

A sneak-peek preview is coming Sunday.

In a Facebook past Friday on its new page, owners say they’ll be offering a small version of their classic donuts Sunday through their drive-up window as a fundraiser for the Holiday Help Program.

From 8 a.m.-10 a.m. (or until they run out) will sell a smaller version of the donuts longtime customers know and love from their to-go window that’s on the side of the building.

Flavors are the same as ever: Chocolate, Vanilla, Cinnamon Sugar, Coconut (the Joe Falcone special) and Plain.

CASH ONLY: The donuts will be two for $1 and 100% of all proceeds will go the Holiday Help Program that is organized by the Williams Bay School District.

Owners say they are still in the process of getting the place ready to fully open. They have a new furnace coming soon and are waiting on a couple of other odds and ends also, but it will happen soon, they say.
