DELAVAN — The city of Delavan’s Plan Commission on Monday will discuss a proposed 36-lot residential development on the west side of Lake Lawn Resort’s property.

(AGENDA)

This development would be an extension of the current Harbor Club development on the east side of Lake Lawn.

The agenda item is only a starting point for discussion and no vote will be taken.

The city of Delavan Plan Commission will take place at 5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 in the Council Chambers of the city of Delavan Municipal building.

The development would off North Shore Road along the Delavan Lake outlet.

According to a sitemap, the development would be placed where holes holes 3 and 4 of the current Lake Lawn golf course are located.

The Concept Plan is intended to begin discussions with the plan commission about the project’s proposed land use, density, design, and amenities, as well as the range of requested flexibilities from zoning standards, according to the agenda packet.

Following the discussion with the Plan Commission, Lake Lawn developers will likely have a similar conversation with the city of Delavan Common Council.

Both meetings are intended to be informal and informative working sessions that are oriented towards identifying a project that works for the developer and the community, according to the agenda packet.

These discussions are non-binding, and no vote regarding the overall project should be taken by either the Commission or the Council.
