DELAVAN — A portion of Mound Road in Delavan beginning March 24, 2024 for a major reconstruction project.
Mound Road will be closed to through traffic from Racine Street (Highway 11) to Hobbs Drive for this first project phase.
Work from Hallberg Street to the railroad crossing will include a new watermain, storm drainage piping, and sanitary sewer.
Once that underground work is complete, the roadway is scheduled to be excavated, graveled, and paved in early June, according to the city if Delavan.
