LAKE GENEVA — Student artists from throughout Walworth County were recognized April 16 during an awards reception at the Geneva Lakes Art Foundation’s gallery in downtown Lake Geneva.
The Annual Student Art Show, held April 16–19 at Gallery 223, featured talented local high school students showcasing their work in a professional gallery setting.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to support and celebrate the next generation of artists as they share their unique voices—helping to inspire the future of our arts community,” members said in a news release.
Lordes Bernal Cortos
Lourdes Bernal Cortos explores photography through both film and digital work. She believes learning film is essential, helping her better understand light, dark and the finer details that strengthen her digital images. Lordes won GLAF Young Emerging Artist for “Moth on Banana”. Lordes attends Big Foot High School.
