GENEVA TOWNSHIP – A 59-year-old woman was arrested Thursday following a domestic incident that resulted in the stabbing of a male victim.

According to a news release, Town of Geneva Police Department and Walworth County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at W3297 Iris Rd. in the Como subdivision at 5:13 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2025, regarding a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, officers.learned that a woman had stabbed a male victim.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The extent of his injuries was not released.

Following an investigation, the woman was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Walworth County Jail.

The Walworth County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and authorized the charge of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Charges have not yet been officially filed as of Friday afternoon according to online court records.
