LAKE GENEVA — The League of Women Voters Whitewater Area will hold a candidate forum for Lake Geneva mayoral candidates on Wednesday evening, March 18, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Horticultural Hall, 330 Broad St, Lake Geneva.
Todd Krause, the incumbent candidate, and Joel Hoiland are in a contested race for mayor. Both candidates will be present at the forum. League board member and professor of education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Dwight Watson will moderate the forum.
At the forum, attendees will be asked to write questions on cards distributed by the League. Questions are reviewed by question checkers, who sort them by topic and check for redundancy, before forwarding them to the moderator. Questions cannot be targeted to specific candidates. Questions prepared by the League board will be used only if there are not enough questions provided by residents in attendance at the forum.
