MILTON — Two dogs who had been missing along with a Milton man were found dead Thursday morning, according to media reports from the scene.

Kevin Doyle and his two yellow labs left to hike the trails at Storrs Lake Park near Milton about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and didn’t return by 11:30 a.m. when his family began searching for him.

A Facebook post from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office updated before noon said the search has been completed for the day and they no longer are seeking volunteers. Doyle’s vehicle was found parked at Storrs Lake.

The sheriff’s office was called in to help. The search included grid searching on foot, vehicle patrols, neighborhood canvasses, ATVs, UTVs, drones with thermal capability and K-9s.

The search was called off Wednesday evening and resumed Thursday morning with the help of volunteers.
