Deer in downtown Lake Geneva late at night

LAKE GENEVA — Locals know that late-night on Main Street in downtown Lake Geneva can be a very busy place.

But police have found that once the tourists leave after the summer season, a very different animal takes their place.

In a post today on social media, Lake Geneva police posted a nighttime dash cam video showing three white-tailed deer making their way down an empty Main Street recently.

“Have you ever wondered what our night shift is up against? Officer Thornburgh’s dash cam has the answer. Stay safe Officer Thornburgh!” read the post.
