DELAVAN — The Delavan-Darien High School FFA is livestreaming two gilts giving birth at the school.
A gilt is a pig that will be delivering its first litter, and two of them are in the farrowing, or birthing, pens at the high school.
The duroc breed had its litter last Saturday and the berk breed is due anytime!
The pigs will be observed in the Vet Science class and are on loan to the school by Delavan-Darien FFA Alumni members Kurt and Jenny Junghen.
