TOWN OF DELAVAN — A convicted sex offender is moving to a residence on Mound Road in the town of Delavan, police said today in a news release.

Anthony R. Teifke, 30, was convicted of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography. Police say Teifke’s knew his victim.

Teifke will be residing at 6436 Mound Rd. beginning May 30, 2022.

The Town of Delavan Police Department is releasing the information in accordance with a state law that authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offenders release when they believe information will enhance public safety, awareness, and protection.

Teifke is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry and will not be allowed to leave the residence unsupervised. He is not wanted by police.

Teifke also is required to participate in, global positioning satellite tracking and is subject to frequent, unannounced, random home visits by the Department of Corrections.

Police say that anyone who threatens, intimidates, or harasses a registered sex offender could subject those who commit such acts to criminal penalties, and potentially end law enforcement’s ability to conduct community notification.

Additional information is available at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Website located at http://offender.doc.state.wi.us/public/.
