DELAVAN — Police on Wednesday executed four search warrants related to the December 2020 homicide of Alejandro Gonzalez in Delavan.

Police from Delavan and Beloit along with Sheriff’s deputies from Rock and Walworth Counties served warrants on a four residences in Beloit Wednesday.

The warrants were served at 409 1/2 Prospect Street, 842 Vine Street, 927 Eighth Street, and 1551 Euclid Avenue.

No arrests were announced.

The investigation is in connection with a homicide Dec. 13 in the 800 block of Parish Court in Delavan.

That’s when Delavan police were sent to 820 Parish Court, Building 1 for reported gunshots being fired, according to a release from the police department.

Witnesses who called 911 reported several vehicles fleeing the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

When officers arrived, they found Gonzalez, who had been shot.

Lifesaving measures were performed and were unsuccessful.
