WHITEWATER — A man is dead and two others are hospitalized following a crash Friday morning on U.S. Highway 12 in Whitewater.

The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center received a report shortly after 10 a.m. Friday of a motor vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car at the intersection of Highway 12 and Walworth Avenue in Whitewater.

The truck driver was also transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

The conditions of each were unknown when the sheriff posted the news release.
